I am Barbara.  Friends and fam call me Barb.  I am a Mother, Wife, Hobby photographer, and Super ballin softball player.  I had the Vertical Sleeve Surgery on September 30, 2015.  80% of my stomach, gone.  I’ve struggled with my weight most of my life.  I waited 10 years to go through with the surgery, mostly because I was scared, because my mom was scared for me, and because the process seemed impossible. Some days with food are easier than others.  I workout, eat better, and try to take better care of myself.  I decided to do this because I want to be honest with myself and maybe help people along the way if I can.
